Sprint Store Burglarized in Merrick
Police are investigating a burglary that took place at the Sprint Store, located at 2013 Merrick Rd. in Merrick, Monday morning.
According to detectives, at 3:01 a.m., Second Precinct officers were called to respond to the store to investigate a large rock thrown through the front glass door. After investigating, police discovered that an unknown male broke the front door and removed various cell phones that were on display. He then fled on foot, cops said.

He's described as approximately 5-foor-10 or 5-foot-11, weighing 225 pounds with a stocky build, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants, knit cap, face mask and gloves.
Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
