Nassau County Police are asking the community to help identify a man who robbed Fast Break at gunpoint Saturday night.
According to detectives, at approximately 10:55 p.m., the suspect entered Fast Break at 1066 Merrick Ave. armed with a black handgun. He robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money and Newport cigarettes. Like Merrick Patch on Facebook by clicking here.
He is described by police as a black male, approximately six-foot-two. He was wearing a black wool hat, a grey hooded sweatshirt and tan pants, according to cops.
