The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District released a statement Monday regarding a suspicious Facebook page that Calhoun High School officials thought should be investigated.
"No threats have been made to any student or any building facility at Calhoun High School," the statement said.

According to the release, the school district reached out to the Nassau County Police Department and requested they monitor the suspicious Facebook page.
"The district continues to take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the district students and personnel," they said. "The school district is proceeding normally and there are no interruptions to the school day."
Nassau County Police told Patch that they received a call Monday about someone making threats on Facebook against Calhoun, but an investigation into the matter found that there were "no threats" and no arrests have been made.
This comes just three days after a Bellmore man was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot everyone at Mepham High School.
According to police, on Dec. 22, Anderson, 28, who's also known as Piotr Abdel-Fattah, allegedly told two women at Roosevelt Field Mall that he hated Mepham and wanted to shoot everyone.
On Jan. 3, Mepham Principal Michael Harrington became aware of these comments, and he notified police. After an investigation, First Precinct officers were led to Anderson's home on Dewey Avenue in Bellmore where he was arrested without incident.
