The Young Israel of Merrick is proud to announce that we have reached our 25th Anniversary Jubilee year which will be celebrated at our Journal Dinner on March 17, 2013, at the Sephardic Temple in Cedarhurst, NY. At that time we will honor our long-standing and devoted members, Susan and Avi Abikzer.
Over the past quarter century we have grown from a small band of pioneers to a vibrant goup of families in the Jewish community in Merrick. Often taking a leadership role, Susan and Avi's ongoing commitment to our synagogue has been a wonderful example for all. Through countless contributions, sponsorship of programs, and catering our ongoing holidays and celebrations, they have unselfishly given of themselves.
We hope that our members and most supportive friends, will join us in recognizing their contribution to our synagogue, and our community.
