2. Vandals Leave Levy Lakeside School with Four Broken Windows: A group of rowdy youths left Levy Lakeside School with four broken windows, Nassau County Police reported. According to police, at about 9:30 p.m. on Friday, a group of unknown youths were gathered on the property of the schools. Rocks were thrown and four large windows in the rear of the school were damaged.
1. Two in Custody Following Armed Robbery of Merrick RadioShack: Two men who allegedly robbed the Merrick RadioShack at gunpoint and subsequently crashed their vehicle while attempting to flee the scene, shutting down Merrick Road for most of Saturday, are in custody.
