2.Fundraiser Started For Calhoun Graduate Who Died of Cancer: Friends of Deborah Averso-Artz, a single mother who recently died of cancer, have started a fundraiser for her two young sons, Brendan and Hunter. 

1. Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Capital Project Approved: Bellmore and Merrick residents voted to approve the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District's capital project, a $49.6 million bond, which will provide critical infrastructure updates to the district's seven buildings, on Monday.
