The North and Central Merrick Civic Association (NCMCA) will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the North Merrick Library.
First Precinct Officers will discuss recent criminal activity and the NCMCA will provide an update of recent community issues. Updates include:
- Safety issues at School Crosswalks
- Merrick Avenue Beautification Project - Adopt A Tree
- Privatization of our Sewage Treatment Plants
- The Grumman/Navy Plume
- LIRR Parking Permits
- Road Renovation and Guardrail Requests
The NCMCA addresses neighborhood concerns from Sunrise Highway to Jerusalem Avenue and from Meadowbrook Road to the Bellmore Avenue (except areas covered by the Merrick Park Homeowners Association and Wenshaw Park Civic Association).
