The North and Central Merrick Civic Association will be
having its next meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the North
Merrick Library, 1691 Meadowbrook Road. The NCMCA will be hosting a
presentation of the maps that the Nassau County Redistricting Commission
proposed for the Legislature's consideration. 1st Precinct
Officers will discuss recent criminal activity and the NCMCA will provide an
update of recent community issues, including school safety and a report on
Legislator Denenberg's Disaster Response Taskforce.
The NCMCA addresses neighborhood concerns from
Sunrise Highway to Jerusalem Avenue and from Meadowbrook Road to the Bellmore
Avenue (excepting areas covered by the Merrick Park Homeowners Association and
Wenshaw Park Civic Association).
The NCMCA seeks to improve the quality of life of our community and invites
