Merrick LIRR Permit Program on Hold

Those looking forward to the Long Island Rail Road's Parking Permit Program that was announced for the Merrick station are going to need to wait longer due to Hurricane Sandy.

According to Susan Trenkly-Pokaskly, a Hempstead Town spokeswoman, there's no timeline for the program, which has already been implemented in Bellmore.
