Editor's Note: The following article was written and submitted by Francine Buscaino.

This is a female spayed approximately 5 to 8-year-old kitty that was found in Merrick.

Neighbors have said she was wandering around for the last three days with multiple injuries. She is really in good condition, as if she was an indoor cat at one time and possibly got out.

She in currently in my hospital being treated at The East Meadow Veterinary Clinic. She will be here for the week. Shes currently on some antibiotics and her wounds on her paws are healing. She might have gotten into a fight, we really aren't sure.

She is really a sweet and friendly little girl. We will be running blood work to day, a wellness profile, thyroid test and FelV/Fiv today. Please spread the word about her.

If there happens to be no owner, she will be up for adoption once she is healed. Please start sharing. Email me at Franswa115@aol.com with any info or questions. Thank you.
