For more than twenty-five years the Merrick-Bellmore Brotherhood Council has sponsored a musical salute to Thanksgiving for our combined communities. This year, the concert will be held on Sunday, November 18th at 2 pm at Calhoun High School in Merrick.
You will be treated to the efforts of each of our three high school choirs as well as the presentations of a number of our house of worship musical aggregations.
There are so many more reasons for us to come together as a community to offer our thanks not only for the bounties of this season but for coming through the recent storms==some of us more scarred than others--but all still needing to celebrate our community.
Let us pack that auditorium on that Sunday and join in the Thanksgiving Hymn from a grateful community.
