AAA New York Launches New Discounts and Deals Site

Expands Discounts Program with ClubDeal, an Exclusive Online Destination for Deeply Discounted Electronics, Consumer Products,Travel, Lodging and More

GARDEN CITY, NY – When you think about AAA, the first thing that probably comes to mind is roadside assistance, not discounted electronics.

While many people are aware they can get AAA discounts on things like hotels, the motoring/leisure club doesn’t necessarily spring to mind for online deals.

AAA New York is looking to change that with the launch of ClubDeal (AAA.com/ClubDeal), a “virtual outlet shopping destination” that aims to save its 1.6 million members money on all types of purchases.

From restaurants to electronics, from consumer goods to cruises, ClubDeal gives AAA New York members a one-stop shop to find the best deals available on a wide range of products, services and merchants.

AAA has also joined in a partnership with Samsung Electronics to provide deals on a wide array of electronics items.

A sophisticated price-optimization engine on the back-end gives members extra savings on top of
already deeply discounted prices.

Other electronics and consumer goods partners are continually added, making ClubDeal a “virtual marketplace,” and a first-stop when members are looking to buy any number of products.

Deals and product offerings change frequently, so members are encouraged to check daily to see what’s new. Some examples of recent ClubDeal “finds” are:

  • Samsung MV800 Red Digital Camera ($279 list price) for less than $154.
  • Samsung 40” Flat-Screen HDTV ($779.99 list price) as low as $587.
  • Samsung Blue Ray DVD ($89.99 list price) as low as $69.99.
  • Two-Night Stay for Two at the Hilton Garden Inn, Williamsburg as low as $199.

Other deals have included 50 percent or more off special events, sports venues, attractions, lodging and getaways, and restaurants.

Even home goods - espresso machines, J.A. Henckels knife sets, KitchenAid mixers, for instance - and fashion accessories like crystal jewelry, have been spotted on the ClubDeal site.

“Our AAA members renew at a rate of nearly 90 percent each year, and the launch of ClubDeal is a wonderful opportunity for us to reward our loyal members,” said Marybeth Febus, Director of Marketing at AAA New York.

“We're constantly searching for ways to provide additional value to our members and now we are able to offer a wider variety of discounts and deals than ever before. This is a very exciting addition to our AAA services, and we know our members will enjoy being able to turn to AAA for the best deal when making future retail purchases.”

According to a recent AAA membership survey, discounts are the number-two reason that members join AAA.

ClubDeal extends AAA’s history of discount offerings for members, dramatically expanding on its successful Show
Your Card & Save® program.

Through the Show Your Card & Save program, members receive deals at more than 164,000 brick-and-mortar locations throughout the United States and Canada.

ClubDeal now allows members to take advantage of even more deals online.

To access ClubDeal, members can visit AAA.com/ClubDeal. Members can also choose to receive “Deals of the Week” e-mails by providing their e-mail address on the site. While the site is open to everyone for browsing, AAA Membership is required to make purchases.

Thank you for this wonderful article on a good man pushed to the brink. I appriciate the fact thisRead More came form the heart and did not hold back. As Sacristan at Cure of Ars, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rich (as I called him) for some time. He was a man of faith and a pleasure to see. Always with a smile and kind word, you would never know what was going on the way he acted. This was a wonderful and insightful article. It is heartbreaking to think that where there was once love between 2 people, things got to the point where one persons life was destroyed by those who could and did for no apparent reason other than having the ability to do so. God will have mercy on Dr. Rich and the ex-wife and "Judge" should pray for the same given their actions.
