The North and Central Merrick Civic Association will hold its next meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the North Merrick Library at 7:00 p.m. We've invited the First Precinct Police Officers and the Neighborhood Watch Program Director to report on the recent increase of criminal activity in our community. The NCMCA will follow with updates on community events, such as parking permits at the train stations, cell antennas, privatization of our sewage treatment plants and the public takeover of Aqua Water.
All are welcome to attend. The NCMCA covers all of Merrick north of Sunrise (excepting territories covered under the Merrick Park Homeowners and Wenshaw Park Civic Associations). Please call Claudia Borecky at 972-6988 if you have any questions or concerns. All calls will remain confidential.
