UPDATE: Westbound Sunrise Highway Closed After Child Falls Out of Car

Police said they do not know the extend of the child's injuries.

The westbound Sunrise Highway near the Meadowbrook Parkway has reopened around 7 p.m. after a child fell out of a car, police said.

Authorities said that they do not know the extent of the child's injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident.
