Santa Takes Time Out of Busy Season to Visit Merrick
Santa's annual visit brings out wishful children and superb singers.
Braving the cold and a steady rain, Santa arrived at the Merrick gazebo last Saturday aboard a Merrick Fire Department truck to hear the Christmas gift wishes of local children. It was all part of the Merrick Chamber of Commerce's annual "Santa's Visit," which featured performances from the Calhoun High School Choir and the Merrick Chorale.
