Lakeside School Open Today
Power and heat restored, Lakeside School will reopen this morning.
Levy-Lakeside School will open as usual this morning as power and heat have been restored.
School officials are advising parents to send lunch to school with their children as vendors are unable to provide lunch today.
Lakeside was among about 20 schools on Long Island that were closed yesterday because of a power outage caused by Saturday's storm.
The Progressive School of Long Island will also reopen today.
