Crime Report: Home Break-In, Bike Stolen From Garage
A look at recent crime as reported by the First Precinct.

A house on Silver Birch Road was broken into on Sept. 30. A laptop computer and other property were reported missing. There was no evidence of forced entry and all doors were locked.

A bicycle was taken from the garage of a house on Lexington Avenue sometime between Oct. 2-3.
(Editor's note: There was no crime or arrests reported in the Seventh Precinct's portion of Merrick–south of Sunrise Highway–over the past week.)
