Crime Report: Cars Damaged, Robbed
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
- Sometime between Jan. 18 and Jan. 19, a vehicle on Custom Village Drive was damaged.
- Sometime between Jan. 19 and Jan. 20, an unknown suspect(s) stole tires and rims from complainant’s 2011 black Infinity. This happened on Clubhouse Road.
- An unknown suspect(s) stole tires and rims from complainant’s 2011 gray Cadillac that was located on George Court in Merrick.
- An iPad and a GPS were removed from a vehicle that was located on Fisher Avenue. This incident took place on Jan. 21.
- An unknown suspect(s) scratched the driver side door of complainant’s 2007 gray Nissan that was located on Covered Bridge Road. The incident took place on Jan. 22.

I moved here to escape from NYC crime, but the suburb of peace is not living up to its name. To the driver of the dark sedan with license plates beginning DEU (I have the rest of the plate nos and the make of your car) that was tailgating/harassing me on Merrick Ave tonight (Saturday, Jan 29) at around 6:30 pm: Don't try this again. You have no idea who you are dealing with.
